We enter through Jaffa Gate and make our way through the Armenian, Christian, Muslim, and Jewish Quarters. In each quarter, we stop at a different hidden gem: a quiet courtyard, a spice market, an ancient church, and a synagogue rebuilt after 1967.
We climb onto the rooftops of the Old City for breathtaking views of the Dome of the Rock and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, before finishing at the Western Wall Plaza.
Along the way, we explore how the city was built layer upon layer, how topography and holiness compete to shape its character, and how people from such different backgrounds live side by side in Jerusalem today.
Route notes
Walking on cobblestone streets and steps. Modest clothing is required when entering religious sites (shoulders and knees covered).
The tour can focus on specific quarter(s) and/or be combined with additional tours of nearby neighborhoods and sites.
